Yes, EE rocks!!!
Yesterday, the 5th edition of the Forum économique de la relève d’affaires (FERA; “Economic Forum for Young Entrepreneurs”) was held. This event was organized by the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ; “Association of Quebec Youth Chambers of Commerce”) and was chaired by David Murray from Hydro-Québec.
Econoler is thrilled to learn that those leaders of tomorrow chose “energy transition” as the theme of this 5th edition. Geneviève Gauthier, our National Director, participated in the panel discussion on new sources of green energy with Mathieu Johnson from Énergir and Michel Letelier from Innergex. Unanimously, these three panellists made the following key observations:
– The cheapest energy is the energy that we don’t use.
– To cope with the huge challenge posed by climate change, all the sources of green energy and energy efficiency have to be used.
Let’s note in passing the youthful vibe of the venue chosen for this event. Indeed, the forum speakers’ lounge did look like where the stars’ hang out. Yes, EE rocks!
